Your Role as Independent Sales Consultant

As an independent sales consultant for Diffyweb, your main responsibility is to connect changemakers and mission-driven organizations with our Martech as a Subscription service.

Specifically, your role might involve:

  • Outreach and Engagement: Identifying potential clients who can benefit from our comprehensive digital marketing solutions, initiating contact, and fostering relationships. This may via phone calls, emails, social media direct messages, conferences or in-person events, and more.
  • Education and Advocacy: Educating potential clients about the benefits of our martech solutions, demonstrating how our services can support their goals and enhance their impact.
  • Client Onboarding: Guiding new clients through the onboarding process to ensure they understand and are ready to utilize our services effectively.
  • Feedback Collection: Serving as a liaison between clients and Diffyweb, gathering client feedback to help us continuously improve our offerings.

Expected Outcomes and Targets

To ensure both personal and professional growth, we have set clear expectations and targets:

  • Client Acquisition Goals: Each sales representative is expected to onboard at least one new client each quarter to be considered active.
  • Client Satisfaction: High client satisfaction rates are paramount, as satisfied clients are more likely to expand their use of our services and recommend us to others.

Independent Contractor Status

If you join Diffyweb in promoting this service, you’ll be engaged as an independent contractor. This arrangement means that you are not an employee of Diffyweb but a separate entity responsible for managing your own business activities.

Key Things to Know

Under this arrangement, the following applies:

  • Autonomy: You have the autonomy to determine how and when you work, providing the flexibility to fit your work around other commitments.
  • Self-Management: You are responsible for handling your own financial affairs, including taxes, insurance, and any other business-related expenses.
  • No Employee Benefits: You will not receive employee benefits such as health insurance or paid vacation that are typically provided in an employment relationship.
  • Equipment and Tools: You will need to provide your own equipment and tools necessary to carry out your duties, such as a computer, telephone, and internet service.
  • Tax Obligations: As an independent contractor, you are responsible for calculating and paying your own taxes, including federal and state income taxes and self-employment taxes. It is important to maintain accurate records of your income and expenses for tax reporting purposes.

This status as an independent contractor allows you to operate with independence while partnering with Diffyweb to offer marketing technology services.

Commissions

At Diffyweb, we value the hard work our sales consultants put into expanding our reach and impact. We offer a competitive commission structure that includes a recurring income, opportunities for monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses, and opportunities to network with changemakers making a real difference in the world.

By partnering with Diffyweb, you’ll have the ability to gain:

  • Standard Commissions: You’ll earn a 10% recurring commission on the revenues from new clients you bring in. This commission continues for the life of the client’s contract with Diffyweb, including any pauses and resumptions in service.
    • As an example, at $4,995/month, a new client will provide you with $499.50/month in recurring commissions as long as they remain a paying client. This means after 10 new clients have been onboarded, you’ll earn $4,995/month in residual, recurring commissions as long as they remain a paying client. Secure us 20 new clients and you’ll have a six-figure income and won’t have to do much beyond the initial sale!
  • Commission Continuity: If a client pauses their service and later resumes, you will continue to receive your commission when payments restart, ensuring your efforts are long-lasting.
  • Bonuses: A one-time $10,000 bonus commission is awarded for securing more than 10 new clients in a single month. Other one-time bonuses may be awarded on a case-by-case basis and at the discretion of Diffyweb.

This commission structure is designed to offer substantial earning potential, providing you with continuous rewards for maintaining relationships and expanding our client base.

Joining the Diffyweb team means you will be thoroughly equipped to succeed from day one. Our initial training program includes:

  • Product Knowledge: Comprehensive training on all Diffyweb services and subscription details to ensure you have a deep understanding of what we offer and how it benefits clients.
  • Sales Techniques: Instruction on effective sales strategies tailored to the unique selling points of our Martech as a Subscription service.
  • Systems and Tools: Familiarization with our internal CRM systems, communication tools, and any other technology you’ll use to manage relationships and track your success.

Ongoing Support

We are committed to providing you with continuous sales support. We’ll provide:

  • Regular Updates: As our services evolve and improve, you’ll receive updates and additional training to keep you at the cutting edge of martech solutions.
  • Direct Access to Support: You’ll have direct communication lines to our sales managers and support team, ensuring you can quickly resolve any client issues or questions that arise.
